There are two databases recommended for this type of research: Gale In Context: Biography and Gale Literature: Twayne’s Author Series.

Gale In Context: Biography

Gale In Context: Biography contains articles, images, and works by specific authors.

Use the "Search Within" results to search for specific titles to find more content.

Gale Literature: Twayne’s Author Series

When searching for titles in Gale Literature: Twayne’s Author Series, use the prompt that contains “(Short story)” to get linked to articles specific about that work.
